Coaching

In the last 15 years professional coaching has had a tremendously positive impact on individuals and groups alike.  From the corporate executive to the fledgling artist, coaching has been a powerful vehicle to move people and teams to enhanced productivity and greater fulfillment.

Coaching has grown at an astonishing rate with a number of respected training schools and effective governing bodies such as ICF.  In addition to creating thousands of certified coaches, training programs have equipped many professionals with general coaching skills to take back to their respected professions.

The next great arena for professional coaching is applied coaching training — the application of coaching skills in specific professions where effective communication skills are valued.

Coach Approach Training Programs

Coach Approach Training Programs are custom designed for specific host professions.  It is our goal to bring applied coaching skills to highly trained individuals in their respected fields.  In pairing a certified coach with experienced industry specialists, Coach Approach delivers programs built to meet the unique needs of the participants.  A collective group goal of integrating coaching with a host profession supercharges the results individuals obtain.  Cameron is a co-developer, trainer and resident coach with the CA training programs. He brings a coaches’ eye to the training programs.

Coach Approach for Organizers

The Coach Approach Coaching Model™ Coach Approach Diagram

Developed jointly with Denslow Brown, the model is adapted to fit the needs of a host profession.  Inspired by the ICF Core Competencies, our model is distinguished by 3 unique elements.

The "Be" of Coaching

How a coach shows up in a coaching session — grounded, calm, ample reserve, establishing a coaching presence.

The "Do" of Coaching-Receptive Skills

Allowing the client to lead — often overlooked, receptive skills such as listening, acknowledging, mirroring and articulating are essential for the client to be heard and understood.

The "Do" of Coaching-Active Skills

Leading the client — active skills such as powerful questions and accountability provide the client traction in what they want and where they want to go.
